  • โฃ1KG of Lean beef mince meatโฃ
  • 1 Brown onion, diced โฃ
  • 1 Red capsicum, dicedโฃ
  • 1/2 Cup of parsley, diced โฃ
  • 1 Tsp salt โฃ
  • 1 Tsp pepper โฃ
  • 1 Tsp of 7 spice โฃ
  • 1 Tbsp paprika โฃ

1. Pre heat the oven to 220c. โฃ

2. Place all the ingredients in a bowl and combine well. โฃ

โฃ

3. Roll the kofta meat into balls. Each kofta ball is 1 1/2 tbsp in size. โฃ

4. Place the kofta ball onto a baking tray that is lined with baking paper. โฃ

โฃ

5. Spray the kofta with olive oil and place in the oven for 15 minutes or until the middle of the kofta ball are cooked through. โฃ

  • 1 Cup of Basmati rice, soaked, washed & drainedโฃ
  • 400g of lean beef mince meat โฃ
  • 2 Tbsp of olive oil โฃ
  • 1 Brown onion, diced โฃ
  • 4 Garlic cloves, sliced โฃ
  • 1 Tsp salt or to required taste โฃ
  • 2 Tbsp of 7 spice โฃ
  • 1 1/2 Cups of boiling water โฃ
  • 1/4 Cup roasted Almondsโฃ
  • 1/4 Cup parsley, diced โฃ

  • 1. In a pre heated pan add the oil, onions and meat. On a medium heat fry and stir occasionally until the meat is slightly brown. โฃ
  • 2. Add the garlic, salt and spices and stir for a further two minutes. โฃ
  • 3. Add the rice and combine all the ingredients. โฃ
  • 4. Add the water and stir. Allow the water to come to a boil. Cover the pan and reduce the heat to low and allow to simmer of 15-20 minutes or until the rice is cooked through. 
  • 5. Serve the rice on a platter, place the kofta balls on top. Garnish with roasted almonds and chopped parsley.
