Caesar Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 heads romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup croutons
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
For the dressing:
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 2 anchovy fillets, minced (optional)
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Prepare the Dressing:
- In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, and minced anchovy fillets if using.
- Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking continuously until the dressing is well combined.
- Season with salt and black pepper according to your taste. Set aside.

- In a large salad bowl, toss the chopped romaine lettuce with the prepared dressing until the leaves are evenly coated.
- Add croutons to the dressed lettuce and toss gently to combine.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the salad.
- Serve:
- Divide the Caesar salad among plates and serve immediately as an appetizer or as a side dish with your main course.
